Effect of a smile

The effect of a smile is incredible. Today, within 3 minutes of walking into work, I observed a change in a coworker who tends to smile a lot. I thought something was wrong , so I (along with two other coworkers) asked about it. He had no idea what the hell was going on or why we noticed such a change in him.

He ended up interrogating me about what I meant by a "change in his mannerisms" because, of course, I had no idea what had changed. So we discovered that the chief reason was simply the fact that he was smiling less. (And fidgeting more).

I thought it pretty interesting that a smile (or lack there of) could really make that much of a change in the people around us. I've seen people cheer up after a really tough day just from seeing a genuine smile from someone else. (sometimes it could be anyone!)

Isn't that just beautiful? Let's all smile more :D

Right. One little smile can go a long way.
