I've been doing a lot of thinking during the past few weeks, and I've found that my priorities are shifting. I'm focusing more on very specific things, rather than needing to feel involved in everything. While I still enjoy doing most things and being with most people, I've developed a set of things and people I will choose over anything else. Family is a given, so I'm removing that from the list. I can't not love and care to death about my family. I can't not put them first in the event of a crisis; that would be MESSED up. Aside from that, I can sum the important things down to 7 things, and the things I really truly care about down to 6.
7) School. It's important. I need to go, and I need to do well. I need to know my shit if I want to do what I truly care about. It's a prerequisite, so to speak.
6) Politics/Current Events. I want to know that the world and all people are being treated humanely. I want to know that people can live to their full potential and believe what they want to believe without dramatically harming others physically, mentally, or emotionally. I want to know that I can trust someone to take care of those things.
5) Good food. I'm pretty sure that speaks for itself.
4, 3, 2) In no particular order: Dave, Keith, & Tina.
1) Music. I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing.
